The newest firmware enables the printer to cut 2x6 photo strips, which is a nice feature to have when you're running a photo booth. The print speed is quick. It hardly ever jams. One roll of thermal ink/paper produces about 400 4x6 prints (800 2x6 strips because there's 2 strips per 4x6 print). If the printer does jam, it is easy to fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DonJon from CP-D70DW Really Reliable I've used these printers about four or five times a week for 4hr durations with heavy use. Has been extremely reliable (knock on wood). Only issue I've had is going from a hot to cold temperatures, causes some sort of condensation in printer and if the clipping catcher gets full during use and a clipping causes a jam. With attention from user these can be avoided (I'm pretty sure the user manual says do not allow for those things to happen). Simply pull the paper out, cut off the wrinkled portion of the paper with scissors, and reinsert into the printer. Also, if the thermal ink film tears, that is easy to fix as well. Simply tape the torn pieces together and roll the torn portion up onto the used portion of the roll, then reinsert into the printer. There is also a discard tray which holds small pieces of waste paper that gets cut off when the printer cuts the photos. That tray is very easy to empty, and should be emptied each time the roll of paper in the printer is changed.
