Fck you Blizzard. I'm in the same boat. Was disappointing to buy the game for my macbook pro and find that world editor does not exist. It's listed in the included features on the page, too. I'm just voicing my opinion, too, that as a long time Blizzard customer, I would love map editor to be available for mac OS X;) Also, anyone know what's going on with Frozen Throne on the website?

Warcraft III clients on the Blizzard.net will download an installer to your hard drive. It will not work because it is for the PowerPC environment, killed by Lion.
If you already had Warcraft III installed when you upgraded to Lion, Warcraft III runs, but the Frozen Throne icon has the international 'no' symbol over it (circle with a hash through it) and says the obligatory 'Frozen Throne can't run because the PowerPC environment is no longer supported' message. And, to top it all off, Warcraft III, although it does launch, is virtually unplayable because most of the images on screen have no textures. Can't read much, can't see much. So, how are you playing Reign of Chaos without black textures? How are you launching Frozen Throne at all? Would LOVE to get my Warcraft III back.. Anyone else think that Blizzard is full of sht? They almost never fix any problems within a month, they are keeping everyone on edge with Warcraft 4, not telling us if it is a release or not. They don't add game time to expansion packs. They completely ignore all the thousands of players that still play Warcraft 3, and on most threads with an issue they reply once and ignore it. They still haven't fixed the problem or found a solution for custom and arcade maps that won't load in StarCraft 2, after 4 years!

It does not seem to be available for purchase or download. What am I missing? Man, if I had known that virtually none of the old games I grew up playing worked on macs, I would not have let my wife talk me into buying one. Thanks in advance for any information anyone can give me.
It has been nearly 15 years since the war between the Orcs and Humans ended, choose one of four races and join the renewed struggle for dominance. An uneasy peace settled over the land while, for years, the drums of war were silent. Yet the kingdoms of men grew complacent in their victory--and slowly, the defeated orcish clans regrouped under the banner of a new visionary leader.
Now a darker shadow has fallen over the world, threatening to extinguish all life, all hope. The drums of war play upon the winds once again, rising urgently towards the inevitable hour when the skies will rain fire and the world will tremble before the coming of the Burning Legion. Armed with distinctive units, magical abilities and weapons of war, the Orcs, Humans, Undead, and Night Elves clash in their renewed struggle for dominance.
I am a fan of blizzard games in general, I loved Diablo 1 and 2, didn't like 3 as much (mostly having to do with stylistic differences, AKA how dare you kill off Deckard Cain with such an awful 'cutscene'), loved Warcraft 2 & 3 and even loved vanilla WoW. Now later in life as a college student, return to play some classics with friends just to have endless connection issues that require LAN connections (even those with limited success), then I begin to try to make an RPG with map editor on my mac just to find out they patched it out without a notation being anywhere except patch notes that we wouldn't have read prior to buying the game.
